Dr. Morton was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida before attending medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL. She is excited to be able to live in South Florida for Residency and be near the beach! Dr. Morton’s passion for Pediatrics began when she was still in high school and volunteered with children at church and local non-profit organizations. She has participated in several medical mission trips overseas and would love to do more trips as a Pediatrician helping underserved children. Dr. Morton’s hobbies include traveling, spending time with friends and family, eating Chick Fil A, and making frequent trips to Disney World.
Why she chose Broward Health
Dr. Morton states one of the reasons she chose Broward Health was because of how much she loved the residents. She thought everyone was so genuine and welcoming and felt like she really connected with everyone who interviewed her. She loves the wide variety of pathologies and patients seen with the program and feels very supported by her co residents and faculty to become a well-trained physician.
