About you: 

Dr. Kopec was born in Montreal, Canada but raised in Dallas, Texas. She obtained her MD degree from the American University of the Caribbean. Prior to her study of medicine, she was working in the Telecommunications sector for over five years. Dr. Kopec’s hobbies include trying new restaurants, online shopping and building Legos. 

Why did I choose Broward Health Internal Medicine? 

I chose Broward Health because I wanted to be a part of building the foundation of the Internal Medicine residency program from the ground up. There is so much opportunity when a program is in its infancy to enact positive change that benefits future generations. Last but not least the large promotion for resident mental wellness that is seen on a daily basis is truly one of kind.
