Dr. Kim was born and raised in South Korea. He moved to the United States when he was 19 years old. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in Psychology. Dr. Kim obtained his DO degree from Nova Southeastern University Dr Kiran, C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has multiple hobbies including cooking, playing volleyball and pickleball, weight lifting, and traveling. Dr. Kim‘s passion for medicine started when he first moved to the U.S. and experienced health disparities and inadequate healthcare in underserved/rural areas. He aims to provide equal and holistic care to all patient populations as a hospitalist or pulmonary critical care physician in the future.
