Personal Statement Or Description:
Dr. Ruppel grew up in Tampa, Florida. She pursued her undergraduate degrees of nutrition and spanish at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She then went on to study medicine at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. After completing medical school, Dr. Ruppel completed a transitional year program at Broward North Hospital. She is excited to continue on in the Broward family for her training in dermatology.
WHY BROWARD HEALTH
Dr. Ruppel chose Broward Health because of the unique exposure to a diverse patient population as well as the program's academic and supportive atmosphere and the extraordinary clinical training and medical education offered. Her dermatologic interests include pediatric dermatology, skin of color, and both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. Outside of dermatology, Dr. Ruppel enjoys traveling, reading, beach volleyball, pilates, and spending time with her loved ones.
