About you:

Dr. Brouwer was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Brouwer obtained his MD degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. His hobbies are hanging out and going on walks with his dog, playing and watching sports, and traveling.

Internal medicine gives you the opportunity to care for patients in an array of settings and work with multiple specialties simultaneously. I chose Broward Health due to its opportunities and support that would help me thrive in my education and training. I’m happy to trade growing up in a sunny state like Arizona for Florida.
