Dr. Baig was raised in Sunrise, Florida. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of South Florida. He then completed his medical education at NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His hobbies include creating puns, listening to Korean pop music, and baking.

Why I chose Broward Health Emergency Medicine?

I was exposed to Broward Health and its emergency room at its Deerfield Beach location as a volunteer in high school. I saw first-hand how the members of the emergency medicine team efficiently and effectively coordinated their roles to heal and manage patients. Rotating at Broward Health as a medical student showed me the diversity of patients that presented to the emergency room and how supportive the faculty is.
