Dr. Uppal was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a degree in Biology and Latin American and Caribbean studies. She spent a year teaching 6th grade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Uppal obtained her DO degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Dr. Uppal’s hobbies include reading, trying new foods, and exploring new places. Dr. Uppal was inspired to pursue medicine by her uncle who currently practices in Dallas, Texas.

She chose Broward Health Pediatrics because of the wonderful community and network of providers. She also loves the diverse patient population she gets to work with.
