Dr. Morency was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, but moved to Palm Beach, FL when she was 9 years old. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She attended AUC school of medicine and spent the first two years of medical school in Saint Maarten and the last 2 years in South Florida completing her clinical rotations. Dr. Morency is thinking about doing a fellowship in either Neonatology, Pediatric ER or General Pediatrics. She is excited to learn more during Residency so she can make a choice. In her free time, Dr. Morency likes to listen to music, cook Haitian food, dance Kompa and take selfies.
Why she chose Broward Health
She decided to attend Residency at Broward Health Medical Center in South Florida because she wanted to give back to the community that raised her. Her goal is to help the underserved community and Broward Health Medical Center will give her the chance to do just that.
