Personal Statement Or Description:

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. After graduating high school, I moved to Memphis, Tennessee to play collegiate volleyball and graduated with a Bachelors of Spanish language and literature and a minor in chemistry. I went on to obtain my MD degree from the American University of the Caribbean after living on the island of Sint Maarten and in Preston, Lancashire, in the United Kingdom (due to being displaced from the island by hurricane Irma). In my free time I enjoy reading fantasy books, cooking (especially handmade pasta), watching international soccer (and now Messi here in Fort Lauderdale!) and finding new restaurants to eat at in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

Why I chose Broward Health Cardiology

I knew very little about Broward Health before coming here, but I chose the residency program for its' welcoming atmosphere, exposure to diverse pathology, and the in-house cardiology program. I quickly learned what a fun and unique place Broward Health was and wanted to spend another three years with the cardiology program!
