Dr. Zafar was born in Columbia, SC and raised in Columbus, GA. She attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry. Dr. Zafar's favorite thing about South Florida is the beautiful beaches, and she absolutely loves our wonderful program coordinator, Ashley Britton. She is interested in General Pediatrics in the outpatient setting or pursuing a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Zafar enjoys spending her time with her cat Zoë, swimming, and getting to know new people.
