About Dr. Perez:

Dr. Perez was born and raised in Miami Lakes, FL. Dr. Perez graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He obtained his DO degree from Nova Southeastern University. His hobbies include relaxing on the beach, water sports, weightlifting, spending time with family, Miami pro sports, and enjoying good food. His passion to pursue family medicine for his community was influenced by his grandfather who practiced in Cuba & Hialeah, FL.  

Why I chose Broward Family Medicine:

Our program has an amazing culture. I rotated as a third- and fourth-year medical student and I have seen multiple generations of residents who enjoyed life in residency and are now excelling. This program supports resident wellness, and it is a pleasure to work with my peers & our faculty. We have excellent inpatient training and there are infinite learning opportunities within Broward Health while on other services or when choosing electives. Importantly, I genuinely care for the communities of South Florida and plan to serve them in my future practice.
