Dr. Amanda Costa, MD. was born and raised in Uberlândia, Brazil. She moved to Florida in 2007 to complete her high school and undergrad education. Since that time South Florida has been her home. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and intermediate in Spanish. Growing up, she always had a passion for the medical field, and her heart was set in pediatrics. She attended Ross University School of Medicine and graduated in the spring of 2018. She is very excited to start her new journey as pediatric resident here in South Florida! She also has future aspirations of pursuing a fellowship in hematology/oncology or pediatric emergency medicine. Dr. Costa also plans to dedicate time to social work in her community working with young Latino women who are interested in pursuing an education. Dr. Costa loves to travel and spend time with family and friends, especially her husband and their English Bulldog, Bella.
