About Dr. Knowles:

Dr. Knowles was born and raised in Freeport, Bahamas. For her undergraduate education, she attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. Dr. Knowles attended The University of the West Indies for medical school, studying in both Trinidad & Tobago and The Bahamas, and graduated with a MBBS degree with Distinction. She then completed a research fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Department of Dermatology in Dallas, Texas where she contributed to advancing the treatment of keloids. Dr. Knowles is passionate about complex medical dermatology, sclerosing disorders and scarring, clinical research, and wholistic patient care. She enjoys crafting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

I was attracted to the diversity of the faculty, residents, and staff as well as the patient population at Broward Health. At Broward Health, I have an opportunity to receive great training from exceptional faculty and contribute to compassionate care of Broward's most vulnerable populations - both of which are very important to me.
