Dr. Barro-Tarazona was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida International University where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Dr. Barro-Tarazona obtained her MD degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Barro-Tarazona’s hobbies include completing escape rooms, reading, writing, and spending time with her family, her five cats, and her English bulldog. Dr. Barro-Tarazona’s passion for medicine began when she was in middle school and her close friend got diagnosed with cancer.
I chose the Broward Health Internal Medicine program because what was most important to me was the people I would be working with. I wanted to be a part of a diverse, respectful, and knowledgeable team who valued collegiality and Broward felt that way for me.
