About Dr. Ahmed:

Dr. Ahmed grew up in the small town of Chillicothe, TX and eventually moved to Dallas, TX during her high school years. She completed her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Dallas and received Bachelor of Science degrees in both biology and business administration. She went on to obtain her Masters degree in biomedical sciences at Midwestern University Downers Grove in Chicago, IL. Dr. Ahmed’s pursuit of medicine then led her to Phoenix, AZ, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ahmed’s hobbies include playing volleyball, basketball, and tennis. She also enjoys cooking traditional Turkish meals, reading fiction in her spare time, and spending time with her family.

Why I chose Broward Health Family Medicine:

I chose BHFM because it aligned with my interests in both inpatient and outpatient family medicine and my desire to work in a diverse setting. The program allows for the opportunity to work in a large hospital system with a diverse patient population with complex case pathology.
