About Dr. Henriquez:

Dr. Henriquez was born and raised in La Moskitia, Honduras a rural and isolated area of the country. At the age of 17 he obtained a scholarship to study medicine in Cuba where he completed the medical school and later completed his Medical Residency in Family Medicine and finally a fellowship in Nephrology. Along his family moved to USA looking for a better future. Once in the United State of America he started to work in a Psychiatric research company and started to develop interest in that specialty. Once completed the requirement to apply to the residency MATCH, he was completely sure what he wanted to pursue.  His hobbies include play soccer, biking and practice outdoor sports especially visiting new places.

I chose Broward Health because it is one of the largest and recognized training institution in South Florida and in the Unite State of America, because of the diverse and large patient population that I think are an important point to consider in a residency.
