About Dr. Nelson:

Dr. Nelson was raised in South Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in sociology. Dr. Nelson obtained her DO degree from NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. Dr. Nelson’s hobbies include playing games, spending time with friends and family, and playing fetch with her puppy. Her passion for medicine started in elementary school and she plans to provide patient-centered care to underserved populations of all ages.

Why I choose Broward Health Family Medicine?

I chose the Broward Family Medicine program because of the diverse patient population, supportive faculty and residents and the multitude of opportunities to advance my learning within the Broward Health system.
