Dr. Patrick Sullivan Laird was born in Pana, Illinois. His hometown is west bend Wisconsin. He went to St John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. One fun fact about him is that he played lacrosse in college. His interests are playing sports, fishing, hunting, hiking and family time.
Why Broward Health:
"Coming from the Midwest, I always toyed with the idea of moving south for a little while to escape the winters. Florida, the free state, seemed more than qualified. When I finally rotated at Broward General, the residents and attendings were so welcoming and wanted to get me involved. They kept me engaged. I could tell they got a ton of operative and hands on experience. Learning from trauma surgeons at a level 1 center, I knew I would get the training I would need to be prepared. Plus, I couldn't resist the daily meal stipend"
