Dr. Rajabi was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. He graduated from Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences Tehran Branch in Iran. After graduation from medical school, he started research at Center for Research & Training in Skin Diseases & Leprosy in Tehran where he focused on non-invasive methods of measuring skin biophysical properties, and psoriasis research. This experience provided him with a more systematic understanding and greater insight into the field of dermatology, which he utilized to help build new frontiers of knowledge through his applied research. Dr. Rajabi moved to the US and worked as clinical dermatology research fellow at department of dermatology and cutaneous surgery, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Miami, FL. Dr. Rajabi has been involved in investigations of various fields of dermatology including skin cancers including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, nail tumors, hair disorders, laser applications, scars, and advanced skin imaging methods such as Optical Coherence Tomography. Dr. Rajabi is the lead author and co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and chapters in textbooks in field of dermatology. He serves as reviewer for different dermatology journals including Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Laser in Medical Science and Dermatologic Therapy. Aside from Dermatology, Dr. Rajabi enjoys cooking, which is a great way to spend some quality time with his family. He also enjoys sports like skiing, hiking, basketball, soccer and tennis.
