About Dr. Tierrablanca: Dr. Tierrablanca was born in Laredo, Texas before moving to Florida with his family as a child. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida (USF), graduating cum laude with a B.S. in biomedical sciences. After graduating from USF, he worked as an emergency room medical scribe at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital prior to his matriculation into medical school at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tierrablanca is a first-generation college graduate and the first in his family to attend graduate school. His areas of interest in family medicine include preventive medicine and fulfilling his life-long ambition of serving underrepresented minority communities. Outside of medicine, Dr. Tierrablanca enjoys soccer, cars, traveling, and photography.
