About Dr. Rehrer:

Dr. Rehrer was raised in Florida before joining the U.S. Air Force after high school. After 4 years working in contract management, he attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. After completion of his undergraduate degree he moved to Miami to obtain his MD degree from the Florida International University COM. Dr. Rehrer’s hobbies include spending time with his wife and dog (Theo), cooking, surfing, and brunch with friends.

Why I chose Broward Health (BHMC) General Surgery:

I chose Broward Health for my General Surgery Residency because I wanted to train at a place with a high volume of operations and a busy trauma service. This program provides the autonomy to grow and learn under the supervision of a diverse and well qualified group of faculty.
