Personal Statement Or Description:

About Dr. Singer: A South Florida native, Dr. Singer graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Prior to pursuing his childhood dream of practicing medicine, Dr. Singer earned a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law where he served as Senator of the Student Bar Association. After admittance to the Florida Bar, he operated a transactional law practice in downtown Fort Lauderdale. He subsequently earned his D.O. medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. He currently serves as one of twelve residents nationally on the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) Resident Council. He also chairs the Resolutions Subcommittee to the Council. His practice interests include outpatient preventive medicine and physician and patient advocacy. Outside of medicine, Dr. Singer enjoys spending time with family and friends, coffee houses, watching documentaries, riding his Peloton, and going to University of Miami football games.

Why I Chose Broward Health Family Medicine: No other family medicine program offers the unique combination of intense inpatient training at one of the nation’s large public hospital systems with rigorous academic-based outpatient training on a medical school campus.
