Dr. Cheng has frequented living between Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S. She graduated from National Taiwan University and completed her preliminary surgical training at the University of Miami Jackson Health System during the COVID-19 pandemic. She translated her experience abroad and research into a work ethic determined to be up to date on clinical knowledge to benefit patients. Her background has allowed her to respect teamwork, and she aspires to collaborate with fellow residents to achieve optimal care as a part of the Ophthalmology residency team. Outside of ophthalmology she enjoys jogging, playing table tennis and cooking.
