Dr. Raval grew up in Newnan, Georgia and attended University of West Georgia for his Bachelors. Originally an engineering student, his passion for medicine grew after shadowing local physicians and engaging in community health clinics. Dr. Raval attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, and Broward Health Medical Center for residency. He enjoys being at Broward where his wife, Dr. Shilpa Raval, is also an Internal Medicine resident. In his free time, he likes hiking, kayaking, and playing pick-up games with friends; he also enjoys staying in and watching Jeopardy! or playing FIFA.
Why Broward Health Cardiology
Dr. Raval enjoyed the pathology he saw during his training in Internal Medicine residency, especially the cardiac pathology. He appreciated the hands on input the attendings have in the education and training of the Cardiology fellows, along with the potential for growth for the hospital and program
