Why I chose Broward Health Cardiology

I chose the Broward Health Cardiology program because of the diversity within the program and patient population. Staying in South Florida was extremely important to me for my family and I was lucky enough to find a second family here. When searching for a fellowship, I wanted a cardiology program which harbored hard-working, proficient, and humanistic physicians. I wanted opportunities to teach and become proficient enough to practice independently after my training. The passion for cardiology and patient care is admirable and there is unwavering support provided to the fellows. Additionally, the mentorship and teaching opportunities, autonomy, and clinical skills this program emphasizes is second to none.
