Dr Román-López was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health. She’s passionate about promoting health equity in cardiology, social determinants of health, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. Dr. Román-López likes to travel, hike, and spend time with family on her days off.
Why I chose Broward Health
I chose Broward Health because I wanted to work with a clinically and culturally diverse patient population. Additionally, I wanted to be a part of team with a strong sense of camaraderie and team work.
